Youth Healing and Trauma Circle
The Youth Healing & Trauma initiative provides safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate spaces for young people to process trauma, build resilience, and strengthen emotional well-being. Through trauma-informed practices, guided dialogue, and skill-building activities, the program helps youth understand their experiences, regulate emotions, and develop healthy coping strategies.
Services are designed to meet youth where they are—academically, socially, and emotionally—while promoting self-awareness, confidence, and positive identity development. By centering healing and prevention, the program supports youth in navigating adversity, improving relationships, and thriving at home, in school, and in their communities.
Program Focus Areas Include:
Trauma-informed group sessions and workshops
Emotional regulation and stress management skills
Confidence, self-expression, and identity development
Peer connection and supportive dialogue
Referrals to additional mental health and community resources
This initiative reflects SBWG’s commitment to early intervention, holistic support, and empowering youth with the tools they need to heal, grow, and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
